My Little Pony Birthday Party

This was my daughter Jolynn's (Jojo's) 4th birthday. She is a major My Little Pony buff, so it was pretty much granted that this was what she had to have for her birthday party.

With everything else going on I didn't have a whole lot of time to put into prepping for her party, but it did come out cute and the kids had tons of fun. I had a whole bunch more ideas that never ended up happening, some games planned, etc. We did however do several things that were great fun.

We had Super Squeezy Apple Cider, Sweet Apple Acre apple cookies, Apple juice boxes, etc.

I drew this big picture on sheets of white cardstock and put a box of crayons next to them. The kids just went up and colored parts of it throughout the party.

My seven year old daughter suggested we play pin the tail on the pony. I painted this onto card and made the tail on seperate card. The kids had fun playing with this one.

Jojo's friend Emily taking her turn. Not sure what happened to the blindfolds by this time, but they were blindfolded most of the time.

Next came face painting. Seeing that I am a face painter, one would imagine I paint my own kids faces all the time, but that just aint so. My girls love it (wish I could say the same for my boys) and it is an extra special treat on birthdays, etc. when we pull out all the gear and they get to sit in the big chair and get their faces done. They are my best models when I need pictures taken.

Cousin Alexa wanted the same this, but with butterflies on her cheeks.

Funny how kids always want the same things. Yes, the icecream too.

Big sister Ashlyn.
